Hawkamah Workshop Series: Value Based Management Workshop
| 09 March 2010 |
Value Based Management Workshop
Hawkamah in association with Injazat Capital will be hosting a workshop on Value Based Management. There is a strong interdependency between corporate governance and value based management (VBM). While corporate governance aims at protecting shareholders rights and promoting wealth creation through consistent monitoring, appropriate controls and processes, and disciplined oversight approach, VBM provides a holistic management approach focused on aligning stakeholders' interests and increasing shareholders value. VBM is a managerial approach linking strategy, organizational structure and processes with value creation. VBM is where corporate governance meets corporate management. It ensures that all corporate activities lead to achieving corporate governance goals and shareholder value creation. |
