The Geneva-based international financier is a corporate governance-driven shareholder value advocate since over a decade. After a long career with the Nestlé Group in Europe, Asia and the US, he was associated with a banking consortium - comprising inter alia ABN, Bank of America, BNP, Barclays, Dresdner and UBS - before setting up his own international financial advisory firm in Geneva. He has developed a seminal patent pending algorithm for enhancing index tracker equity funds with corporate governance inputs. |
Baladi is, among others, Chairman of Geneva's International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Organization ARICI which founded Geneva's Arbitration Court CARICI, Honorary Participant of the Council of Institutional Investors in Washington DC, as well as a member of the American International Club, the International Financial Management Association (Geneva Chapter), the Swiss Association of Financial Analysts, the International Advisory Board of the NYSE Euronext Stock Exchange, the OECD Consultative Governance Group in Paris, and the Advisory Committee of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR) of UNCTAD in Geneva.
He is also co-Founder, former co-chairman, and member of the Finance Committee of the International Corporate Governance Network, which assembles investors holding equity assets reported to exceed US$15 trillion.
