Mailesh Shah is Head of Investment Consulting for the Middle East region at Mercer. He is highly experienced in assisting institutional investors extract the most from their portfolios by addressing issues such as investment governance structure, asset allocation and effective implementation. He believes that there are no limits to good investment practice and he has applied his investment expertise to a variety of issues faced by clients that are diverse in terms of size, type and geographical location.

Mailesh has over 20 years of experience in the asset management field spanning money management and consulting. Before joining Mercer in 1987, he worked with an investment management firm in the UK. A considerable part of his career has been spent on researching a wide spectrum of investment opportunities and his most recent research focus was on Global Equities and Emerging Markets Equities.

Mailesh has a Bachelor of Science from the London School of Economics. He is a Principal of Mercer.
