Understanding about corporate governance and its implications to the region's private and public sectors comprise one of Hawkamah's main programs.   As one of its products and services, Hawkamah provides analysis, research and technical assistance by commissioning regional and national surveys and research, confidentially engaging with key stakeholders on assessments and development of corporate governance improvement plans, and producing codes and reports.

IIF/Hawkamah Report on Corporate Governance of GCC Countries

The seminal reports comprising of individual country reports for Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates and a comparative survey, published in Arabic and English, identify key corporate governance issues facing individual countries; provides detailed analyses of their corporate governance frameworks; and offers recommendations for improving the corporate governance environment in the countries.

IFC/Hawkamah Survey of CEOs

Providing as a reality check on the corporate governance reforms being introduced in the region, the IFC/Hawkamah Survey of CEOs asks the tough questions as to what extent are the region's corporations willing to take the next steps of corporate governance implementation.
