Hawkamah engages students currently pursuing academic degrees in a short-term internship programme, working on various Hawkamah’s projects.  The highly selective Internship Programme reaches out to university students and designs a short-term programme that complements Hawkamah’s programme of work. The assignment can vary from conducting specific desk research to assisting in event management. 

What will I learn from this opportunity?
You will gain professional experience in the field of corporate governance focusing on various areas such as capital markets, listed companies, banks and Islamic financial institutions, family owned enterprises, public sector and state owned enterprises, etc… Hawkamah interns will benefit from exposure to Hawkamah’s various programmes and experts and get practical hands-on experience on working for a leading Institute in the region. 

What are the work responsibilities and expectations?
Working in a team-oriented environment you will be exposed to corporate governance related frameworks in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia through assisting in research, policy development and organizing /or participation in seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Hawkamah offers internship programs throughout the year. One must have a university degree or enrolled in a university and have an interest in matters relating to corporate governance and / or event management.
